        <description><![CDATA[ Babad I Gusti Ngurah Sidemen is a babad manuscript written in Old Javanese using Balinese script, recorded under the number Va. 3353 in the Digital Catalog of Lontar Manuscript Copies of UPTD Gedong Kirtya Singaraja. The manuscript originates from Jero Kaleran, Sidemen, Karangasem. It tells the long journey of a lineage that begins with the ancestors, including the story of Manik Angkeran and Naga Basukih, and continues through the descendants of Tulusdewa and Ida Penataran. From one generation to the next, the descendants moved and settled in various regions until one branch established itself in Sidemen through I Gusti Made Kacang and I Gusti Kaler. The story continues to I Gusti Ngurah Sidemen, who eventually fell in battle at Bangbang Biaung. This babad is not merely a genealogical record, but also reflects how the journey of a family shaped the existence of the Sidemen lineage through various struggles, allowing its descendants to continue from one generation to the next. ]]></description>

It is written in Old Javanese by I Gusti Ngurah Ketut Sangka. The story traces the lineage of Sira Arya Kenceng from one generation to the next as it develops in Tabanan and Badung. The story continues through governance, relationships between figures connected by marriage, and the spread of the lineage to other regions. Amid the story, news of the killing of one of the descendants sparks the anger of Ki Gusti Agung Badung and leads to a series of deaths amid the relationships between the families that had been established. The story then continues to a change in government, which forms part of the ending of the story contained in this babad. ]]></description>
