The island of Bali has earned a reputation as a natural paradise that offers a variety of extraordinary views, and one of its main characteristics is the diversity of spectacular waterfalls scattered throughout the island. However, Tibumana Waterfall has its own charm that makes it a unique and unforgettable destination.

Tibumana Waterfall is in Apuan Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency, Bali. Tibumana Waterfall has characteristics that make it unique among Bali's waterfalls. Compared to other better known waterfalls, Tibumana Waterfall can be said to be more hidden. So visiting Tibumana waterfall provides a calm and exclusive experience.

In the past, Tibumana Waterfall was known as "Twin Waterfalls" by the local community. This is due to the presence of two enchanting waterfall channels. Unfortunately, as time went by, several cliff sides around the waterfall began to experience erosion and landslides. This condition makes the local community face a difficult decision. Finally, they decided to stop the flow of the waterfall on the left side, and now only one waterfall remains active.

These shifts in the characteristics of Tibumana Falls reflect natural and sometimes inevitable changes in nature. Even though the beauty of the "Twin Waterfalls" cannot be completely preserved, the presence of one remaining waterfall stream still offers stunning natural charm and wonder for visitors who come. Through this decision, the local community has also contributed to preserving this natural beauty for future generations.

Tibumana Waterfall is one of the places that exudes the charm of natural beauty that is still natural and untouched. Its existence is still surrounded by a well-preserved natural environment. When you are at this location, you will feel a truly charming atmosphere. The sound of the waterfall flowing with its gentle gurgling adds a peaceful and calming impression. Plus, the air blowing around Tibumana Waterfall provides a refreshing cool sensation. Therefore, a visit to this waterfall is not just an ordinary natural adventure, but also a very suitable experience to relax the mind and rejuvenate the body from the daily routine.

Behind the charm of Tibumana Waterfall is hidden a cave that has deep history and beliefs. This cave, which is located behind a waterfall curtain, is considered by the community to be a shortcut leading to Goa Raja Besakih Temple, a highly respected holy place. Despite such beliefs, in reality no residents dared to enter the cave. The reason was that this cave gave off a feeling of deep darkness, and the passages were very narrow. Apart from that, the water looks dark blue in the cave, indicating that the hole under the waterfall is very deep and mysterious.

Apart from being a potential route to the Goa Raja Besakih Temple, this place is also considered a noetic watering location. As a result, there are strong beliefs associated with this cave, and it is respected by local residents. Therefore, visitors who come to Tibumana Waterfall are allowed to respect this belief by not trying to bathe in this place.

The existence of the cave behind Tibumana Waterfall adds an element of mystery and complex natural beauty to this location. Despite the limited access and beliefs surrounding it, this cave remains an interesting part of the experience offered by this waterfall and provides an opportunity for tourists to reflect on the natural and cultural wonders of Bali.
