The temple also functions as a gathering place for conducting various traditional rituals aimed at seeking protection, fertility, and prosperity. As a center of religious activities, Pura Desa Adat Kutuh hosts several important ceremonies, including Pujawali and Melaspas Agung. The Pujawali ceremony is usually held during the full moon of the eighth month (Purnama Sasih Kaulu), involving collective prayers and traditional processions.

Utamaning Mandala is the most sacred area where the main rituals are performed, while Madya Mandala serves as the middle area used for supporting ceremonies.

In addition to the Village Temple, Kutuh Village is home to several other significant temples, such as Pura Dhang Kahyangan Gunung Payung and Pura Pasek Kutuh. Pura Dhang Kahyangan Gunung Payung is located on a cliff overlooking the sea, offering spectacular views and a serene atmosphere. An annual Pujawali ceremony is held here, attracting locals and tourists alike. Meanwhile, Pura Pasek Kutuh serves as a place of worship for the Pasek family members who have ancestral ties.
