Pura Tirta Empul is a Hindu temple located in the heart of Bali, Indonesia, situated in the village of Manukaya, Tampaksiring sub-district, Gianyar regency. Various Balinese myths surround the origin of Tirta Empul, with its main uniqueness lying in the natural spring used by Hindu practitioners for ritual purification and seeking holy water. The deity worshiped at Pura Tirta Empul is Dewa Indra, and the temple complex includes two large pools with numerous spouts. The water is clear and cool, and Hindus perform purification rituals by bathing under the spouts, with 26 spouts in total, each with different names and functions.
