Examining the Journey of the Old Traditional Village of Mengwitani
Mengwitani Traditional Village is located in the centre of Mangupura City, exactly Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. Rooted in the ancient Balinese system of government, Mengwitani Traditional Village reflects a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. Established before the 10th century, the village is famous for its unique Kahyangan Tiga Temple, including the rare Gedong Madu and Candra Bulan Carvings. The historic Penataran Temple of Mengwitani is also proof that this is one of the oldest villages in Bali.
