Thomas is a surfer who visited Bali in 1998 and discovered this beach by accident while looking for a new surfing spot. Thomas then named this beach after himself and introduced it to his friends who were also surfers. The name Thomas Beach is starting to be known by local and foreign surfers, although this beach is still rarely visited by general tourists.

Like the history of its name, one of the main attractions of Thomas Beach is its high and fast waves, which are very suitable for surfing. The waves on this beach don't just come at one point, but all along the coastline, so water sports lovers can choose surfing spots according to their level of difficulty and individual preferences.
