Gunung Payung Beach: A Beautiful Hidden Beach

Gunung Payung Beach is one of the tourist attractions in Kutuh Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. This beach is right under the Dang Khayangan Gunung Payung temple. Gunung Payung Beach is a white sand beach with very beautiful views. Apart from the white sand, this beach also has clear water and stunning views of the rocks.

 The entrance price to this beach is very affordable. for two-wheeled vehicles it is only Rp. 2,000 while for four-wheeled vehicles it is Rp. 5,000. With this very affordable price, we can enter Gunung Payung Beach and enjoy the various things offered there. However, the temple area cannot be entered by just anyone, only people who are praying.

 To get to the beach area, we will pass a performance venue or theater. This theater is usually used to perform one of the typical Balinese performing arts, namely kecak. To be able to watch this show, visitors will need to pay separately.

After passing the performance theater, we will need to go down quite a number of stairs to get to the beach. Visitors must be careful because the path down is quite high. The journey to the beach may be tiring, but it will all be worth it when we arrive at our destination.
