Blangsinga Waterfall is one of the natural attractions that is a must visit tourist destination when visiting Bali. Located in Saba Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Blangsinga natural recreation area is the closest waterfall that can be reached from the center of Denpasar City and from tourism centers in the Southern Bali area, such as Kuta, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran. Not far from Gianyar City Park, the distance of Blangsinga Waterfall is only 7 kilometers with a travel time of about 12 minutes.

Blangsinga Waterfall can be visited from 06.00 to 18.00 Wita. If you choose a travel package provided by a travel agent with the destination of Blangsinga Waterfall, of course you don't need to think about how much the entrance ticket costs or the address and location map to the palace. The beauty of the Blangsinga Waterfall object, can make anyone amazed after seeing it. After descending several steps you will find the flow of the waterfall and the center of the waterfall cliff. In this section, you can take a closer look and take photos with the background of the waterfall. Then from the center you will find several further steps to get to the riverbed and valley of the waterfall, there you can soak while watching the beauty of the Blangsinga Waterfall tourist destination.

Please note, before the name of the Blangsinga Waterfall tourist destination was populer this natural recreation area was already known as Tegenungan Waterfall. The thing that makes this waterfall unique is that it has two different access roads, namely the first access from the west side of Banjar Tegenungan, Kemenuh Village. The second access is from the east side of Banjar Blangsinga, Saba Village. So, the two access roads refer to the same tourist attraction. And now this waterfall is also popular with the name Blangsinga Waterfall, which is taken from the name of Banjar Blangsinga.

The Petanu River is the only source of water that drains this waterfall. Not only with the beauty of the waterfall, there is also cultural beauty offered at Blangsinga Waterfall. It is associated witch one of the most influential historical figures in Balinese Culture, a patih named Kebo Iwa. Kebo Iwa was a military commander, during the reign of Prabu Sri Astasura Ratna Bumi Banten in the 14th century. Evidently on the cliffs along the river flow there are handprints that are believed to belong to Patih Kebo Iwa.

Petanu River was also once an access point for Danghyang Nirartha in spreading Hinduism in Bali. Evidence of the spread of Hinduism can be seen on the riverbank. This is reinforced by the existence of Danghyang Nirartha's hermitage, Pura Musen.
