After killing Salya, Yudhistira was filled with deep sorrow. As punishment for his crime, Krishna cursed Ashwatthama to live an eternal life of suffering, wandering the earth as an outcast to make him realize that his actions were part of his responsibility in this war. The battle ended with Bhima fulfilling his vow to destroy Duryodhana, marking the fall of the entire Kaurava dynasty. However, the revenge did not stop there. Ashwatthama, Duryodhana's loyal friend, sought brutal revenge by killing the innocent children of the Pandavas.
