When the universe teetered on the brink of destruction due to the chaos unleashed by the Asuras, beings from Sutala Loka in the Dark Realm, they spread devastation throughout the cosmos, disrupting the natural order and causing both humans and gods to live in fear. Although the gods, led by Brahma and Vishnu, attempted to quell the chaos, they soon realized their power was insufficient to defeat the Asuras.

In this shattered state, the gods decided to seek the help of Shiva, the Destroyer, who was in deep meditation on Mount Kailash. They knew that only Shiva’s full power, known for its destructive force, could purify the universe and restore balance. The gods gathered and, with great humility, pleaded for Shiva to rise and aid them.

Hearing their pleas, Shiva awoke from his meditation. From the depths of his contemplation, he revealed another aspect of himself—Rudra, the god representing nature’s fury and an unstoppable destructive force. Rudra emerged with immense power, summoning a massive storm that annihilated the dark energy carried by the Asuras. With each movement, Rudra brought destruction to the evil forces of the Asuras, yet at the same time, he paved the way for a new cosmic order.
