Penglukatan Mas Medewi is located in Banjar Tegal, Bebalang Traditional Village, Bangli Regency, Bali Province. From the T-junction at the southern tip of Bangli City, precisely in the Bebalang Traditional Village, you take the road heading east. About 50 meters from there there will be another T-junction, here you take the road to the south where there is a quite large gate or temple for a while. Just keep going south for about 100 meters, you will meet an intersection where there is a banjar hall building from Banjar Tegal. This means you have arrived at Banjar Tegal, which is the location of the exploration.

From this intersection you take the road to the south, namely to Jalan Mas Medewi. This road is quite narrow and passes through the dense residential area of Banjar Tegal. If you are driving, be a bit careful on this road. Because on this narrow road it is quite difficult for cars to pass each other, you have to look for a slightly wider part of the road at certain points where it is possible for cars to pass each other.

From this road, go straight for about 200 meters until you arrive at the end of the Banjar Tegal residential area, then there the road will turn right and go downhill. Roads become narrower and residential areas no longer exist. If you are driving, remember to turn around at this corner and be careful on this road, because the narrow road will not allow cars to pass. To the right of the road is a cliff about 5 meters high with a grove of trees, to the left of the road is a ravine about 5 meters deep. This narrow road is less than 100 meters away and you will arrive at the parking lot of Penglukatan Mas Medewi.

At Penglukatan Mas Medewi there are several rules which we are of course obliged to follow and not break. These rules are as follows:

1. When bathing or doing wounds, you must not wear even a single thread of clothing.

According to Kelian Banjar Adat Tegal, if this rule is violated it will cause the Mas Medewi holy spring to stop flowing water. If someone bathing or doing melukat is still wearing clothes, even if it is only covered with a small patchwork cloth, then the holy water in Penglukatan Mas Medewi will stop flowing and a special ceremony must be held so that the holy water can flow again. So the local community is very strict about this rule.

This noetic rule is a spiritual test, a natural selection process for anyone who comes to Tangkil, as well as a noetic fence that guards the sacredness of the holy Parahyangan. Anyone who wants to bathe or do wounds in this sacred sacred paradise must be able to take this spiritual test, namely bathing or doing wounds while completely naked.

2. When bathing or doing wounds, you are not allowed to put clothes in the pathirtan/pancoran area.

This means we have to take off and put our clothes across the bridge over the river, then walk about 2.5 meters to the pathirtan area. Or you can also open and put clothes in the middle of the bridge.

3. Abstain from commercializing or selling holy water from Pancoran Mas Medewi.

The public is invited to nunas tirtha here for their own consumption as much as necessary. But it is not allowed to commercialize or sell it. Apart from that, of course, general temple rules also apply, namely that it is forbidden to enter the temple in a state of distress, such as when a close relative has died and a woman is menstruating.

When we go to a holy place, of course we must follow all the rules of that holy place and not break them. Every holy parahyangan cannot be separated from taksu and holy power. If we are unable to humbly respect and follow the rules, taksu and sacred power of a temple, of course it is better for us not to come there. Without joining this gym, of course you will not be able to achieve any achievements in the process of your spiritual journey. What happened instead was a setback.
