Fostering Spiritual Awareness Through Dharma Wacana: Unveiling the Meaning of the Grand Yadnya in Mengwitani Traditional Village

As part of the grand yadnya ceremony Ngenteg Linggih, Ngusabha Desa lan Mapahayu Nini, the Mengwitani Traditional Village held a Dharma Wacana event. This event took place on Soma Pahing Klawu day, June 24, 2024, at the outer courtyard of the village temple and the central temple of the Mengwitani Traditional Village. This event was not just a meeting but a valuable moment where wisdom and noble values were passed down to the next generation. Through Dharma Wacana, the community was invited to understand the profound meaning of the ceremonies to be conducted, ensuring that each step of the ceremony could be carried out with full awareness and sincerity.
The main speakers at this Dharma Wacana were spiritual figures, namely Ida Pedanda Putra Pasuruan, who also served as Yajamana Karya from Gria Gede Taman Lukluk, and Ida Pedanda Putra Manuaba from Griya Gede Baha Watulumbang. Their presence added significant spiritual weight to the event. Participants of the Dharma Wacana consisted of various layers of the Mengwitani Traditional Village community, including priests, village heads and heads of hamlets, village council members, banjar council members, temple staff, village helpers, event committee members, women's association representatives, and representatives of the village community.
