Entering the temple grounds, the atmosphere becomes even more solemn with the presence of a shrine beneath a giant banyan tree. The large roots that hang and entwine the sacred space seem to provide a natural protection for the entire temple area. The black and white poleng cloth that envelops the tree and the sacred structure symbolizes the balance between two complementary forces. At night, the illumination of the lamps and ceremonial umbrellas creates a serene yet sacred atmosphere. All these elements create a spiritual space that feels alive and full of meaning.
