Darmasaba Village is located in Abiansemal Sub-district, Badung Regency, Bali Province. Darmasaba Village is a combination of 3 villages, where 2 villages are combined into one, namely Aban Village and Tegal Village. According to information from the Bendesa Adat of Darmasaba Village, the residents of Tegal Village used to live in Aban Village, but because at that time there was a disaster that befell Aban Village, where Aban Village was attacked by ants which made Aban Village uninhabitable, therefore the residents of Aban Village moved to Tegal Village, then long story short Tegal Village whose residents also came from Aban Village united with Darmasaba Village. Quoting from several sources, the name of Darmasaba was taken from the lontar usadha bali in 1980, where it was related to the descendants of Danghyang Nirartha, Ida Pedanda Sakti Manuaba who lived in Kendran Village, Tegalalang, Gianyar. He wandered until he arrived at Darmasaba Village. Darmasaba means Dharma which means purity and Saba which means meeting because in the beginning it is said that there were 2 panditas and someone called Ki Bendesa held a meeting at Budha Manis Temple. Budha Manis Temple is a temple built by Kebo Iwa. The place was used as a meeting that discussed dharmaan or purity, so it was named Darmasaba as a reminder that there was once a meeting in that place.
