Matsya Avatar is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu

Matsya Avatar is the first incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the form of a great fish. In this divine story, Vishnu takes the form of a giant fish to save humanity and the sacred scriptures (the Vedas) from a catastrophic flood. He guides King Manu by pulling his boat across the vast ocean, ensuring the survival of mankind and other living beings so that life can begin anew after the cosmic dissolution (Pralaya). Matsya symbolizes protection, renewal, and the preservation of dharma in the midst of chaos.
