Four sesuhunan play a crucial role in the Mececingak ritual, each representing an ancestral spirit that guards and protects Banjarangkan Village. Each sesuhunan resides in temples regarded as sacred by the local community, signifying their closeness to village life. Ratu Gede Agung Sakti and Ratu Mas Ida Mahotama Putra, embodied in the form of barong landung, reside in the Desa Temple. Their presence at this temple symbolizes their significant role in maintaining spiritual balance at the heart of village life. Meanwhile, Ratu Bagus in the form of barong bangkung resides in Puseh Temple, believed to be a place for seeking prosperity and good fortune for the community. Lastly, Ratu Mas, represented by the barong ket, resides in Dalem Temple, a sacred temple serving as the final resting place, reminding the community of the sacred connection between the living and their ancestors.

These four sesuhunan are believed to be more than just spiritual entities; they are guardians ever-present within the community, offering protection and blessings in every aspect of daily life. The community's great honor and gratitude towards these sesuhunan are evident in every detail of the Mececingak ritual, where they are invited to descend, circle the village, and observe the lives of the residents. Through this tradition, the people of Banjarangkan feel the real presence of their ancestors, who help ensure the village remains in a state of prosperity and harmony.
