In ancient times, when the world was young and gods and supernatural beings governed the various aspects of human life, Lord Indra, ruler of the sky and god of rain, presided with wisdom and strength. With him was Goddess Indrani, his beautiful and wise wife, known for her intelligence and support in maintaining the balance of nature and the harmony of the world.
However, beyond the confines of the heavens, a dark threat emerges in the form of Vritra, an extremely powerful and evil giant. Vritra is a giant dragon or asura that is considered the archenemy of the gods. Vritra has amazing magical powers, and one of its most terrifying powers is its ability to hold water. Vritra created a world-wide drought by withholding water from rivers, lakes and other sources of life. His presence causes hunger, suffering and chaos among living beings, both human and animal.

Goddess Indrani, the wife of Lord Indra, is known for her wisdom and compassion. In this moment of crisis, she felt a tremendous burden on her heart and knew that only Lord Indra could overcome the threat of Vritra. Goddess Indrani understood the importance of immediate action and moral support given to Lord Indra.

With Vritra's death, the retained water returned to the world. Rivers and lakes were restored, crops began to grow again, and life recovered from the long drought. Goddess Indrani felt a deep sense of joy as she saw the world restored and living beings happy again.
