The Holy Water of Siwa Pasupati at Pura Beji Kundi as a Source of Blessings and Healing

Pura Beji Kundi belongs to the Beji temple category, a type of sacred temple centered around water for spiritual purposes and purification rituals. At Beji Kundi, the holy day or piodalan is celebrated on the day of Buda Cemeng Melangkir. During these ceremonies, Balinese Hindus frequently visit to offer prayers, seek blessings, and perform purification rituals known as melukat.

Despite water levels dropping during the dry season, when someone comes for melukat, the water miraculously rises, as if providing enough for everyone who comes to perform this purification ritual.

Based on community stories, many people have reportedly received blessings for recovery from serious illness or even obtained children after praying sincerely at Beji Kundi.

 The melukat or purification ritual at Beji Kundi is carried out with simple offerings such as Pejati and lekesan, without the need for bringing bungkak, as the holy water from this temple is already available as the primary purification medium. Beji Kundi is open to the public on certain days considered auspicious, such as Purnama and Kajeng Kliwon. On these days, many worshippers come to perform the melukat ritual, hoping to cleanse themselves of negative energies and gain blessings and protection from Sang Hyang Widhi.
