Kamsa had heard the prophecies about his death at the hands of Devaki’s eighth son. Each failed attempt to kill Krishna only deepened his fear, but it also strengthened his resolve to destroy the boy who threatened his reign. He knew that Krishna would not remain hidden in the village forever. In his final act of desperation, Kamsa devised a cunning plan. He invited Krishna and his elder brother Balarama to Mathura under the pretext of a grand wrestling tournament. The invitation was laced with sinister intentions, as Kamsa hoped to eliminate Krishna in front of the entire kingdom. To add to his confidence, Kamsa hired the most feared wrestlers in the land, Mushtika and Chanura, who were known for their brute strength and cruelty in combat.

As they traveled, Krishna performed many miracles along the way. He healed the sick, brought sight to the blind, and even raised the dead. The people who witnessed these miracles were astounded and spread word of Krishna’s divine power throughout the kingdom. Everywhere they went, people gathered to see the young heroes, offering them flowers and prayers, their hope rekindled by Krishna's presence.
Upon arriving in Mathura, Krishna and Balarama headed straight to the wrestling arena. There, they were met by two giant wrestlers, Mushtika and Chanura, who were immensely powerful. However, within moments, Krishna and Balarama easily defeated the wrestlers, leaving the audience in awe. After defeating the wrestlers, Krishna approached Kamsa's throne. Kamsa, now terrified, attempted to flee, but Krishna gave him no chance. With a single leap, Krishna ascended the stage and grabbed Kamsa. In a swift but fierce battle, Krishna overpowered Kamsa and killed him, ending the tyranny that had long oppressed the people of Mathura.

With Kamsa's death, peace returned to Mathura. The people, who had long lived in fear, welcomed Krishna as their hero. Vasudeva and Devaki were freed from prison, and tears of joy flowed as they were reunited with their long-lost son. Krishna restored the throne of Mathura to Ugrasena, Kamsa's father, who was the rightful king of Mathura. Ugrasena, who had been imprisoned by Kamsa for years, accepted his responsibilities with gratitude, and under Krishna's guidance, the kingdom of Mathura once again became a place of justice and prosperity.
