Pinge Tabanan Tourist Village is situated in Baru Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, approximately 37 km from the center of Denpasar. The village is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, providing a cool and fresh climate. It is surrounded by picturesque natural landscapes, including terraced rice fields, mountains, and forests. 

 

One of the main attractions of Pinge Tabanan Tourist Village is the range of activities available for visitors. Tourists can immerse themselves in rural life, guided by residents. Activities include strolling or cycling through the village, observing uniquely designed and well-organized traditional houses, and interacting with friendly and down-to-earth villagers. 

 

Tourists also have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the rural landscape by exploring trekking paths specifically created by the Pinge Traditional Village for visitors who want to experience the rice fields and the beauty of the village's subak system. Along the journey, tourists will be treated to enchanting natural scenery, such as terraced rice fields, flower gardens, vegetable patches, and refreshing green valleys. Overall, visitors will explore Pinge Village over a distance of approximately 5.1 kilometers. During the journey, they can pause to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

This includes learning the art of carving, one of the skills possessed by the village community, picking flowers in the fields and learning traditional rice field plowing, known as metekap, an agricultural activity carried out by the villagers. Visitors can also witness various traditional ceremonies performed by the village community, such as ngaben (cremation ceremony), odalan (temple anniversary celebration), and others that may coincide with their touring days.

The village also features a main activity center for tourists called Laduma. This area is situated on the northern part of the Pinge Traditional Village land, previously used as Catu Desa or Pelaba Desa farmland (owned by Pinge Traditional Village). Within Laduma, there are flower gardens, a playground, camping facilities, and open spaces for meetings and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) activities.

MICE tourism is a form of travel that encompasses conventions, incentive travel, and exhibitions. It is an effort that provides services for group meetings to discuss the issues at hand. Additionally, Laduma is frequently visited by several schools looking to organize camping events, and facilities such as camping grounds, toilets, and dome tents are available for rent during camping.
